At Sacred Heart, we believe that music is an enriched expression of faith by the faithful in the Mass. It is a form of prayer and praise to God for all He has given us and for making us His people, and is an invitation to all who hear it to more deeply participate in the Mass, the mystery of the Blessed Sacrament, and to go out and make Disciples of all nations.

Our music ministry seeks to fulfill this mission and purpose by integrating minds and hearts to create beautiful music for the liturgy and that also guides both choir and congregation to more deeply participate in the Mass and the mystery of the Blessed Sacrament. In the words of St. Paul, "I will sing praise with the spirit, but I will also sing praise with the mind," (1 Corinthians 14:15).
