Who Do You Say I Am?

We have a challenge for you today.  Do   you dare to insert your name into today’s gospel?  Hear Jesus ask, “Who do you say that I am?”  We have heard Peter’s answer many times but what would your answer be?  If the same as Peter’s, “The Christ of God,” are you living it?  Jesus then told them (and us) the Way: “If anyone wishes to come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.”  This perhaps is the most difficult part of the Christian life.  Daily life, daily commitment, daily sacrificial love extended to all.  Everything we think, do, say and choose is shaped and directed by the way we answered that question; “Who do you say that I am?
