Sacred Heart parishioners Barry DeRubertis and his father Pasquale, a WWII veteran, were among nearly ninety veterans, guardians and Leatherstocking Honor Flight staff making a trip from Albany International Airport to Washington, DC on Saturday 10/27/18 to tour the National Mall and visit a variety of memorials and monuments honoring our American Veterans.

Leatherstocking Honor Flight’s mission is to “Honor American Veterans” for all their sacrifices and to transport them to Washington, DC to visit those memorials dedicated to honor the service and sacrifices of themselves and their friends.
