In recognition of Veteran’s Day and in coordination with Colonie Center and the area Blue Star Mothers we will be collecting items for “Operation Holiday Freedom Boxes” at the Sock Hop.  

“Operation Holiday Freedom Boxes” are a collection of items that will be sent to young men and women who are serving our country all over the world in all four divisions of our military. 

We will present Sacred Heart School’s Operation Freedom Boxes to the Blue Star Mothers at Colonie Center the weekend of November 13 and 14.  For participating in this event our school will receive 5,000 $chool Buck$ points.

Please bring any of the following items to fill our Freedom Box at the Sock Hop on November 5th.

Cookies, Pringles, Lip Balm(Chap Stick), Crackers (ind. Packs), Fruit Snacks, Shampoo(4oz. or less), Mac & Cheese (microwave cups), Nuts, Bar Soap, Gum, Pouch Tuna or Chicken, Toothpaste, Hard Candy (no chocolate), Slim Jims, Toothbrush, Ind. Sized Powdered Drink Mix, Beef Jerky (no pork products), Deodorant, Granola Bars, Playing Cards, Ind. Sized Tissues, Energy Bars, Puzzle Books, Disposable Camera, Trail Mix,  Hand Sanitizer (4oz. or less), Pop Tarts, Sanitary Wipes/Baby Wipes
