Restoration of Harmony

DSC_6709Today’s celebration is really the second phase of the Epiphany or manifestation that Jesus Christ was no ordinary man, but rather the long hoped for one who came to ultimately restore the harmony of creation lost by Adam.

The kerygma or original missionary preaching of the first generation of Christians all began with the Baptism of Jesus in the Jordan. Whereas Moses was allowed to see the promised land but not permitted to cross the Jordan to enter, Jesus began His public ministry at the Jordan and re-entered the promised land.

All four Gospels tell us of this important event… signaling that a new era had begun!

Now some two thousand years later this may seem to us as ho-hum stuff, but it is time to wake up. In reality we live in the final era, the already! Christ has restored the original purpose of creation. What fowls it up is man’s rebellious free will. The only thing remaining for the complete restoration of harmony is for men to harmonize their wills with Gods.
