On Wednesday evening, June 24, 2015 parishioners and guests gathered in Sacred Heart Church to listen to an hour and a half long presentation on funeral pre-planning and other end-of-life issues.  Speakers included: SH Bereavement Committee Chair, Mr. Richard Haldeman; Ms. Linda Purcell Rinella, LFD, Director of Daniel D. Purcell Funeral Home; Mr. Rick Touchette, Executive director Albany Catholic Diocesam Cemetery Office; and our own Parish Nurses, Ms. Rebecca Thomason, RN and Ms. Loretta M. Ciraulo, FNP-C, MSN, RN.  Topics covered included: Funeral procedures at Sacred Heart Church, Pre-arranging a funeral, End-of-life decision planning & documentation, and Arranging for burial.  Special thanks to all our presenters, and stay tuned for similar future presentations.
