March Madness Comes to Sacred Heart School

March Madness arrives early at Sacred Heart School.  For a $10 raffle ticket, the participant receives 31 chances to win $100 in prize money each day during the month of March, and the pot of gold grand prize of $1000 on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17th.  Each winning ticket gets put back in the raffle for subsequent chances to win, so donors truly have 31 chances to win!  Ticket forms are available on the bulletin board in the back of church or below.  Just take one or print one, fill it out and return the form to the school office with your $10 donation.  Feel free to duplicate the forms for your friends or co-workers.  March Madness Tickets

Parking Lot Taking Shape

Site work, landscape modifications and drainage improvements are underway in Sacred Heart’s latest parking lot improvement project.  When complete, later this fall, the parking lot improvements will not only provide better access to and egress from the overflow lot located on the Spring Avenue side of Sacred Heart Church, but will also provide several new planting beds and landscaped areas to further enhance the church grounds.

Preparing the Feast!

Parishioners Paula Daily, Devon Camenga & Kathy Dresch join Fr. Yanas in assisting  Gina Petrelli (Father’s former housekeeper and cook in Frankfort NY.) in the preparation of a gourmet Italian feast.

Devon and his family were the successful bidders on a day long cooking lesson with Gina and a gourmet Italian Feast with Fr. Yanas at the Sacred Heart Annual Silent Auction.  This year’s auction, held in May raised over $25,000 to benefit Sacred Heart School.  Buon Appetito!
