Joyful, Joyful, Our Hope is Risen!

Christ Our Hope Is Risen GraphicToday we celebrate an event which is the most important in all human history, and at the same time a reality which continues to transcend all human history! It is the opportunity brought about by Christ becoming one with us, dying and overcoming death for us, so that we through baptism might be restored to God’s original intention in creating our world!  Becoming one with Christ, in His glorious risen mode we are invited to lives lived without end in unconditional mutual love!

If we really think about it, not only is Christs resurection an overwhelming mystery, but at the same time it is a source of indescribable joy… an understatement to call it “the good news”. We cannot help but notice in the accounts found in the Acts of the Apostles, how the early Christians grasped and reflected this atmosphere of joy, and in turn felt urged to share this good news with those who had not yet experienced this life changing reality. Today is an especially good day to be joyful and to share the reasons for our joy with others.
