Jesus Loves You!

Easter 2011-05Let’s face it, not all of our human experiences are happy ones. There are times in everyone’s life when we are down in the dumps. So, for example, we were shocked to find out after the death of St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta that for many years she lived and worked in spiritual desolation. Yet, she remained faithful to and productive for the Lord.

Under such circumstances we must remember both today’s words of Isaiah “I (the Lord) will never forget you”, and St. Paul’s: “…do not make any judgment before the appointed time.” (i.e. do not jump to false conclusions) and let the words of Jesus sink in: “…do not worry about your life…Why are you anxious…So do not worry…But seek first (before all else) the kingdom of God.” Jesus loves you! Always remember that.
