Catholic Relief Services Collection

Next weekend (March 10-11) there will be a second collection for Catholic Relief Services Annual Appeal.  (Rice Bowls are available on the table in the rear of Church. Please be sure to take a Rice Bowl home and use this fun and easy resource to collect your spare change as a way to deepen your family’s Lenten experience and make a tangible difference in the lives of the poor.

Also, on the table in the rear of church is “The Little Black Book” which contains six minute reflections on the Passion according to Mark. This guide provides the framework for you to enjoy one of the Church’s oldest traditions of prayer – called “lectio divina” (sacred reading). People are often surprised at how easy it is to pray this way.
