Called to Be Christ’s Healing Presence

17 Nov 2013 by SHRCChurch, No Comments »

AKKMC-0001Foreshadowing the coming of Jesus, in today’s first reading the prophet Malachi proclaims: “…there will arise the sun of justice with its healing rays.”  Deacons, vowed religious, and lay ecclesiastical ministers – each in their own unique way – bring Christ’s healing presence to countless broken and hurting people in a variety of places throughout our world.  Please help extend the healing rays of God’s love by submitting the name and contact information for someone (perhaps even yourself) who may have the gifts to serve as a deacon, vowed religious, or lay ecclesiastical minister.  Please take a response card home today from the back of the church, complete it this week, and return it next week at Mass.
