CaFE Anyone?

19 Jun 2017 by SHRCChurch, Comments Off on CaFE Anyone?

All new CaFE evenings are planned for this spring/summer. CaFE stands for Catholic Faith Exploration in a café style setting with snacks and refreshments.

It is a journey through seven (7) fun and stimulating talks, aimed at helping you understand your Catholic faith more fully and becoming more enthusiastic about God’s action in your lives. The evening has a fixed kind of structure. To start with there will be fellowship and refreshments, following that the group will watch the DVD series for 30/35 minutes, 15 min break (wine and snacks), after which we will split in smaller groups and discuss (approx 30 min) thoughts and insights from that particular evening’s talk. Plenary closing.

The DVD talks are given by UK Director of Catholic Evangelization Services, and include music, mime, testimonies and opportunities for prayerful reflection. You are welcome to turn up for just one talk but hopefully would be drawn back for the whole series!
