5 Feb 2012 by SHRCChurch, Comments Off on Bishop Hubbard’s Message

This weeks bulletin contains an insert from Bishop Howard Hubbard addressing a matter of concern to all citizens and which in the Bishops words constitutes  “… a serious matter that negatively impacts the Church in the United States, and that strikes at the fundamental right to religious liberty for all citizens of any faith.”

Please review the February 5, 2012 bulletin (Sacred Heart RC Church 02/05/12 Bulletin and Insert), read Bishop Hubbard’s letter and follow the link to the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops web site  www.usccb.org/conscience  to learn more about this assault on religious liberty and how to contact Congress in support of legislation to reverse the federal governments decision.
